Prayer

You do not need to be together to pray to Me. And sometimes you can. I do not say that you have to pray as the clock ticks. Nor do I say you need to cross a calendar. Really, when you can. You can come together and say what you say. I do not look at people that organise their day like soldiers and think they are a lot more spiritual than the next. That’s not what it is about. It’s praying from your heart, not from a timetable.

You do not meet in a room with nothing to pray about and say “Let’s pray.” That’s not how it is, for it is placed on your heart to pray and you pray when it is. Not when you decide it is the time to pray. You pray when it is laid on your heart to pray.

Don’t let it weigh you down like it weighs so many of my people down. Let’s all get together and pray all night long, they say, and half the people there wish they were not there in the first place. Do you think that there is a chance it has to be done.

I actually get quite annoyed. I do not like people praying for what they think they should be praying for when they don’t want to pray. Prayer comes from the heart, not from the head and I lay it on your heart to pray. I do not ask that 5500 people get together and pray about the same thing. How ridiculous. I lay it on your heart. One to pray can achieve more than 100,000 praying the same thing. I don’t ask people to pray by list. It’s not a supermarket nor is it a shopping list. I ask people to pray from their heart because I choose the person to pray, for who I wish them to pray for. I am the one that chooses, not the leader of the pack. For what is the point in praying when it is not on your heart for that is not what prayer is. It is personal between you and Me.

When you pray you speak to Me sitting on My throne. If you don’t want to pray then it is an insult to me that you pray. I would rather you didn’t than you prayed because you thought you should do. You pray because you feel it on your heart and that prayer is more powerful than any prayer prayed by man because it is the spirit within you talking to My Spirit and we talk on a level that you cannot imagine as a human being.

For prayer is more powerful than you can think but it is not something that should be mumbled quickly and then a sandwich shoved in your mouth. It is something personal between you and Me on a one to one basis. If there is five hundred in that room I am speaking to one on one and I will always do so. I do not say “Well done, you five hundred and fifty people. That’s just what I wanted.” I say “Well done, My child. Well done, Sarah. Well done, Angela. Well done, Paul. Well done, Peter.” I do not talk to you as a herd of cows. I talk to you as an individually created person made by My hands and breathed life into by My mouth. That’s what I speak to My children.

You will feel in your spirit when I speak to you and you will feel in your spirit when you know I’m pleased and you will feel in your spirit when you know I am grieved.

Never pray when you feel that you do not want to. Rather be quiet and listen. Do not think that you should pray because the one in front of you has prayed. This I do not like. I do not like a room full of people and one will pray and it is quiet and someone thinks “I think I should pray because it is too quiet.” Surely the quiet is where it is for this is where I am speaking. You do not have to pray because nobody else is. Rather you listen and wait if you think you should and you shall speak before I speak, then you will miss what I have you to say. Then the prayer that you should have prayed would not have been prayed. Instead, it would have been an empty prayer that ricochets and echoes around eternity with no point.

Prayer is like the end of an arrow that pierces the darkness and reaches the person that needs it. I don’t like the silly ones because they just get in the way. But then listen to me. If your spirit says something that is silly then that is what you should pray. Understand that it does not have to be some wonderful prayer to impress Me because you cannot impress Me no matter how much you do. What it is, is that if you pray from your heart and if you feel it is silly does that matter? I am not at all interested in who thinks it is silly. If I ask it to be prayed therefore I wish it to be prayed.

Get over your fear of man and what man thinks. There is nothing worse than someone trying to be as spiritual as they can for I do not live there. I live where you live. I walk where you walk. I talk to the people that you talk to. I am a real God. I am a living God and I am with everything you do, everything you say, and every breath you breathe. I am there. I am not just there when you decide it is time to be spiritual. Now I am spiritual I believe God will be here. I am there in your intimate moments. I am there in your private moments. There is never a time that you are alone. I am always here. I don’t turn off like the TV when its bedtime.
