Jesus is coming back

    There have been many different ideas about when our Christ is coming back. Many arguments about whether it is before or after or half way through the Tribulation Period and we suppose that our God must be disappointed when we focus on time and not on Himself.

    We received some amazing teaching from the Lord Himself where He showed us that man was always keen on putting dates on His coming and when these things should be. His word is very clear that no man should know the day nor the hour that the Lord shall come We shall see the signs and know that it is near. It is important that we understand that that not even the Son knows when He is to come. When you consider that, should the Lord put a time on His coming, then not only would man know (and of course leave everything to the last minute) but he who lies would know as well (and of course, course many false signs to occur which would lead people astray). The principle is that once anything has been spoken by the Lord God almighty it cannot be changed so He has left these things flexible. He has said that when man gets close to working these things out He changes it. If a man tries to count the leaves on a tree, by the time he gets to the end HE will grow some more. If a man tries to count the leaves of grass in a field, by the time it is finished HE will have grown some more. As we have considered the return of the Lord as shown in scripture, there is nowhere that the signs spoken of in Matthew, Daniel and Revelation that they would have to be within a seven year period. It may be that God will choose to restore His chosen people to being no1 again for a period of seven years as in Daniel’s seventieth week but nowhere does it say that God is confined to showing the signs only within that week of years. In fact He has indicated that these have already begun.

    In Genesis ch2 v5-6, we are told that there was no rain and a mist went up over all the earth. Consider then in the days of Noah, the people, would have only ever experienced a cloudless sky. They were warned by Noah of the rains to come and told to turn unto God for salvation. But just like now they took no notice of the obvious signs. As the storm clouds began to develop over a period of time right in front of their eyes showing clearly of what was to come, the people just partied on, ignoring the obvious. These people did not listen to Noah and so perished in the waters of judgement. God showed them the signs of His coming in judgement but they did not listen.

    A parable of Jesus is "There was a man who walked in a field He was blind but as he walked he smelled the flowers, reached out and felt the leaves and sensed the beauty of the flowers. Another man also walked in the field. He was not blind but as he walked amongst the flowers he did not see them

    Here in the world today we are still ignoring the obvious. Think of Revelation ch6 "I watched as the Lamb opened the first of the seven seals. Then I heard one of the four living creatures say in a voice like thunder, "Come!" I looked and there before me was a white horse! Its rider held a bow, and he was given a crown, and he rode out as a conqueror bent on conquest.

    When the Lamb opened the second seal I heard the second living creature say, "Come!" Then another horse came out, a fiery red one. Its rider was given power to take peace from the earth, to make men slay each other. To him was given a large sword.

    When the Lamb opened the third seal I heard the third living creature say. "Come!" I looked and there before me was a black horse. Its rider was holding a pair of scales in his hand. Then I heard what sounded like a voice among the four living creatures, saying, "A quart of wheat for a day’s wages, and three quarts of barley for a day’s wages, and do not damage the oil and the wine!"

    We don’t know when the Lamb will open the fourth seal and release the pale rider but we are to look at the signs and know that He is near

    God has been showing us these signs for some years and yet we still do not get the message. There is not much time left. We need to get out and save the lost, free those in bondage to the one who lies, allow them also to be free to work in the harvest.

GOD IS IN A HURRY! WE SHOULD BE TOO!

    One day two will sleep in a bed one will wake and the other will be gone. Two will be working in the field and one will turn and remain and the other will be gone. When the time comes do not look left or right and think where are my possessions for he who looks for others than me at that time will be left behind. Do not worry what is left on the earth for you all will have your reward in heaven with me
